The second Ideas review for 2023 has concluded, with a total of 49 different projects cut, the fourth-largest result of any review to date.
This number is surpassed only by the 2022 Second Review (51 projects), the 2021 First Review (57 projects), and the 2023 First Review, which still holds the record with a staggering 71 projects in a single round. However, the forty-nine builds are not to be scoffed at – just ask. LEGO

The Idea Review Board is now responsible for reviewing them all – a significant achievement for each of the designers to successfully garner 10,000 votes between May and September 2023.

Now the Ideas team will have to decide whether to take any of these 49 different projects to the next stage, that is, turn them into an official product ready for mass sale. This time around, the game features the usual assortment of vehicles, modular buildings, and licensed blueprints, as well as original designs like a working gum machine and a vintage toaster.
The full list also includes no less than five different Taylor Swift-inspired projects, including four modeled after Lover House itself from one of the star’s biggest music videos. (Another recreates Swift’s set for her Eras tour.) If there’s anything to be sure about in this review, it must be Taylor Swift’s set… at least if LEGO
