The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 9 people were killed in a US raid on a military facility in Syria linked to Iran.

On Wednesday, the United States launched strikes against a facility in eastern Syria that the Pentagon said was used by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and its affiliated groups, for the second time in weeks.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement that the strikes were carried out by two F-15 fighter jets and came in response to recent strikes against U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights counted 16 times that Israel targeted Israeli territory from October 10 to the 30th of the same month, 10 of them with airstrikes and 6 with missiles.

On Thursday, the Syrian News Agency reported that an Israeli raid had taken place on military sites in the south of the country.

The Syrian News Agency quoted a military source as saying: “On Wednesday evening at around 10.50pm, the Israeli enemy carried out an airstrike from the direction of Baalbek in Lebanon, targeting some military points in the southern region.”

The source indicated that there had been what he described as “some material losses,” without providing further details.

For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Israeli strikes targeted Syrian army points in the southern governorate of Suwayda.
