“That’s why I wear baggy clothes,” she said.

“No one can have an opinion because he hasn’t seen what’s underneath.”

via Getty Images

“No one can say, ‘She’s slim-fat’, ‘She’s not slim-fat’, ‘She’s got a flat ass’, ‘She’s got a fat ass.’ Nobody can say any of this because they don’t know.”

But, unfortunately, people have already tried to exploit and disgrace the teenager.

Even when she was as young as fifteenonline trolls tried to sexualize her for no apparent reason.

Billy has the right to write about whatever she want…

There is no justification for sexualizing a young woman…

Or any a woman of any age, for that matter.

She was only seventeen when she began to experience such disrespect.

But when discussing the topic, Billie has said in the past that she doesn’t want to stay hidden forever.

“I’m going to become a woman. I want to show off my body,” Billie told Elle magazine in an interview back in 2019.

“What if I want to make a video where I want to look desirable?” She said.

But she understands the consequences such a step could lead to.

“I knew it was going to be a big deal,” Billie said.

Among the 10 posts there were 2 videos/boomerangs. One of them featured Eilish’s top half while she was taking a shower (in a bathing suit), while the other was a post of her and her friend on a boat just looking out at the water.

Look at here.

In an interview with High Snobiety, Billie spoke about respect in the music business.

She admitted that if she had started her career being more feminine and girly, she would not have been taken seriously in the industry.

The star also noted that her “masculine” sense of style greatly helped her become a serious teenage artist.

“People saw me as a 15-year-old kid wearing these things, looking like this, acting like this, talking like this. I felt like I couldn’t change. That’s why I made it this far to the other side,” Billie said.

She added: “I was trying to prove, ‘Hey, damn guys, I can do whatever I want.’ Now I can look really masculine if I want, and really feminine if I want, without it being a damn headline.”

Acknowledging how her masculine side has helped her career, she said: “I think people took me more seriously because throughout my career I dressed more masculine.

“If I was more feminine and girly, people would treat me with a lot less respect.”

Billie also talked about how her gender influenced her time in the music industry.

“I remember crying in my bed because I was thinking about what kind of show I wanted to do,” she said, according to the Daily Mail.

“There was a period of time where I was in a pit of hopelessness about myself because I had nothing to look up to in terms of girls like me being taken seriously.”

She felt that her gender was holding her back.

“I would feel so hopeless because I’m a girl, so I’d never be able to do a show like that, I’d never be able to be out there free and wild… performing like that. and being more physical and focusing more on the performance… I thought it would never happen,” Billie added.

But she believes finding balance really helps.

“I feel the strongest when I feel the most masculine in my life… I can also find strength in femininity. It’s kind of a balance of both.

“Depending on the way I walk and stand, my clothes, my face, my jewelry, my fingers and everything that I am from day to day. I like to feel more masculine than feminine, it just makes me feel better.

“I struggled with this for a long time because I wanted to feel feminine and I liked it, but I didn’t really like it, but you have to find moments where you can have it and it’s still good,” she said .

Billie said she now looks to the future with more hope.

“What excites me a lot is that women are rising above everyone else in this industry right now,” she said.

“It gives me hope and inspiration. Not only do women do one thing, women do a variety of things.

via Getty Images

“And look different, and act different, and have different styles. There’s such a range now and it’s so nice to see it, it’s refreshing and new, it’s never been seen before.

“It’s great to be a part of this,” Billie concluded.

Not long after, Billie made headlines for a much more heartwarming reason.

Because the interview between Eilish and David Letterman blew up the Internet.

In the viral video, Letterman asks Eilish about her battle with Tourette syndrome.

“What’s happening?” David asked how he reacted to Billy’s sudden movements.

Billie replied, “I’m ticking.”

She added: “If you film me long enough, you’ll see a lot of tics.”

Letterman then gently asks, “Can I ask you this?”

“Yes, absolutely,” Billie replied. “It’s really strange. I didn’t talk about it at all. The most common reaction from people is to laugh because they think I’m trying to be funny.”

via Getty Images

“It always offends me incredibly.”

“See, I was guilty of this. We’re sitting here talking, everything’s fine, and then I… Because I’m me, I think I said something that made you angry,” David continued. “I just thought, oh, she’s tired of me, but that’s me.”

“Thank you for including me in this. I appreciate it,” he added.

“Thank you for asking. I really enjoy talking about it,” Eilish responded.
