Now that video footage of teenage James has surfaced on social media, fans have a lot to say about him and his football skills.

He stood up and complained to the referee, which most basketball fans would say he does frequently. He then caught what appeared to be a touchdown pass in the end zone, which looked controversial as the referees determined the correct call. Later, James, wearing the No. 9 jersey, walked out of the football field.

Speaking of LeBron and football, reporter Brian Windhorst ESPN revealed that R&B singer Aaliyah’s death in 2001 gave James the inspiration to continue playing football in high school.
when appearing in NBA Today On October 10, Windhorst claimed that before his death, James would not play football during his junior year of high school. But after Aaliyah died in a plane crash, James “won’t live his life in fear” and continued to play.
“So Aaliyah’s pass took him off the sideline. He skipped the start of his junior year – he missed the first game of the year. I played the second game, no practice, no training camp. He Played 12 games, had 1,200 yards and 11 touchdowns and was one of the greatest receivers in school history,” Windhorst said.
“[LeBron James]was going to quit football after his sophomore year, and then Aaliyah, one of his favorite singers, died in a plane crash. “He decided he wasn’t going to live in fear anymore. “
