LeBron James launches children’s book ‘I Am More Than’ that’s sure to captivate – OutKick

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James wants to be this generation’s Roald Dahl. Lyndon Johnson is about to release a new children’s book, expected to hit shelves in April 2024.

“I’m More Than” is the title of LeBlanc’s second children’s book and third book. How many of these books are written by highly paid ghostwriters is another matter.

The picture book’s synopsis reads: “I’m More than I Am is an empowering and inspiring picture book that shows young readers that they are more than just a label, trait, or interest—they can be anything they Things you want to do.”

The title hearkens back to LeBron James’ “More Than An Athlete” slogan, which often prefaces his understudied political opinions.

James published his first children’s book in 2020, titled “I Promise.” The 38-year-old Los Angeles forward has long used his “I Promise” phrase to express his dedication to giving back to low-income communities. LeBron opened his “I Commit School” in Akron, Ohio, and so far it’s been a hybrid experiment.

When it comes to making money off trademark phrases, LeBron James is the (Stephen) King.
