Trailer for Jennifer Connelly’s black comedy “Bad Behavior” – GeekTyrant

Here’s the trailer for the new one Jennifer Connelly There’s a movie coming out called Bad behavior. In the film, Connelly plays a former child star who finds herself on an enlightenment retreat. She’s obviously going through some things, including a troubled relationship with the daughter she plays Alice Englert. The film looks strange and bizarre.

According to the plot, “Lucy seeks enlightenment. The former child actress makes a pilgrimage to join her guru Elon Bello for a quiet retreat at a beautiful mountain resort with a parking lot filled with Teslas. Before turning off her phone to communicate with the world, Lucy turns to her daughter Dylan—a stuntwoman preparing for a dangerous fight scene—to break her concentration and announce that she will be unavailable and out of reach, and that she was very worried about her and that she could extend her stay. This is codependency, bad behavior. When a young model/DJ/influencer on a retreat teams up with Lucy to perform mother-daughter role-playing exercises, hellfire brings Lucy’s bad behavior to a shockingly low level.”

This film was the directorial debut of Alice Englert, who also wrote the script. The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Englert and Connelly will be joined in the film Ben Whishaw, Ana Scotney, Dasha Nekrasova, Karan Gill, Beulah Koale And Marlon Williams.

Further details about its US release have yet to be announced, but it will open in New Zealand cinemas on November 2 and in Australian cinemas on November 9.
