But with the 31-year-old’s retirement looming, Mane is ready to make the most of his £650,000-a-week wages.

According to La Journal Du Centre, the Senegalese winger is ready to buy Championnat National 2 club Bourges Foot 18.

Preliminary talks between Mane and PSG president Cheikh Sylla are said to have taken place when the club was founded two years ago.

Now reports suggest the 120-goal Liverpool hero is ready to become a major shareholder of the Bourges-based club.

Mane’s takeover of the club is scheduled to be announced on October 25 at the Bourges City Hall.

They have endured a difficult start to the season and currently sit 13th in Group B of the Championnat National 2.

But things could soon improve under Mane.

In 2016, Mane joined the Red Army from Southampton and played for six years. He played 269 times under Klopp and scored 120 goals.

He won six major trophies with the club including the Champions League and Premier League.

In 2022, the Senegalese star moved to Bayern Munich, but spent a difficult time with the Bundesliga giants.

The 31-year-old was fined £436,000 after he allegedly punched team-mate Leroy Sane in the dressing room following the Champions League defeat to Manchester City.

Mane then chose to move to the Gulf country in the summer to play at the Al Nasr Stadium alongside football icon Ronaldo.

He has since played 18 games for the Riyadh-based club, scoring eight goals.
