Will LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid play tonight?

Even though there are only two games tonight, there are still plenty of NBA player props to pick from. Thursday’s doubleheader features some of the top stars from tonight’s game.

When it comes to NBA player props, most bettors usually focus on scoring. Some of the most interesting names taking the floor tonight include Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and LeBron James.

Looking at these three stars, each has an interesting line in scoring. Embiid and Giannis will both be making their season debuts, while LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to rebound from a loss to the Nuggets.

For Embiid, his scoring line is set at 29.5 points. A two-time scoring champion, he is the highest scorer of these three players. Next up is Giannis (27.5), followed by LeBron (20.5).

Which of these NBA player props has the best chance of success?

Based on last year’s average numbers, all three NBA players are capable of scoring. That said, there are several new factors at play this season.

Of these three pillars, Joel Embiid has the best chance of success. He just led the league in scoring and was the team’s lone star. The Philadelphia 76ers big man will certainly be hoping to start the new year in good shape after another drama-filled offseason.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is another of the league’s top scorers, but his touch may change this year. Now the Milwaukee Bucks have added another superstar to the roster by acquiring another superstar in Daman Lillard.

As this will be their first regular season game together, the two are still finding a way to coexist on the court. Because of this, Giannis’ high point total could be considered a risky bet.

In 21 years, LeBron James is still capable of averaging 20 points per game. That said, the Lakers appear to have a plan for his workload.

On opening night, LeBron was pulled after about 29 minutes of play. After the game, head coach Davon Hamm said this may be the new normal for the star forward this season.

As his playing time decreases, LeBron’s overall performance will definitely decline. He’s going to be a tough player to bet on until he consistently takes on new playing time.
