But Davis, like superstars, won’t stay in the doldrums for long. In fact, he was the Lakers’ best player Thursday night as they registered their first win of the season against the Phoenix Suns, scoring 30 points and grabbing 12 rebounds while being named to the All-Defensive First Team. . AD absolutely silenced his critics in one game, and these performances gave everyone a glimpse of just how impactful he was in his prime.

That’s exactly the right mindset for Anthony Davis, LeBron James and the rest of the Lakers. They have no choice but to take this action because they are under the microscope as they play in front of the biggest and loudest fans in the world. Therefore, there will always be inappropriate criticism that hurts them. But greatness knows no bounds, and no matter what the naysayers say, the cream always rises to the top.
