Serena Williams’ former coach Rene Stubbs celebrates five years of relationship with girlfriend Eden Bruce

Serena Williams’ former coach Renee Stubbs recently wished her girlfriend Eden Bruce an end to their five-year relationship.

Stubbs is a former professional tennis player and former coach of 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams. She is not married but is in a long-term relationship with Bruce. Stubbs announced her sexual orientation in 2006 and came out as a lesbian at the age of 35.

The couple has been dating since 2018. On October 27, Eden Bruce took to Instagram to send his fifth wedding anniversary wishes to his girlfriend, Rennae Stubbs. She went on to talk about the equation they shared and included a photo of them together.

In the caption, Bruce mentioned Stubbs as her “best friend, life partner and greatest love.” She said she had no words to express her feelings. Bruce added that five years have flown by quickly and she is now looking forward to spending the next 100 years with Stubbs.

“We’ve been 5 years! My best friend, life partner and greatest love rolled into one. I want to try to put into words this feeling of certainty but I can’t. It’s a feeling, it’s a Realization. I can’t believe 5 years have gone by in such a blink of an eye. I can’t wait for the next 100🤍,” Bruce wrote.

The former doubles world No. 1 retweeted the article on her Instagram Story, captioning it:

Rennae Stubbs was shocked to learn her ex-boyfriend murdered a nursing student before taking his own life.

On Oct. 13, her ex-boyfriend, Justin Wendling, kidnapped nursing student Gina Bryant and then shot her in the head. He then drove to Iowa, eventually killing himself as police approached his car.

The nursing student’s family confirmed that she and Wendling were in an abusive relationship, which Bryant ended just weeks before the horrific incident.
