Stephen Curry and LeBron James are two of the greatest players in basketball history. During their career, they won numerous championships and even broke many NBA records. However, while both players have shown the same level of greatness, fans and critics seem to be more critical of James than Curry.
Recently, Draymond Green tweeted on social media that his teammate Stephen Curry is among the top five great players in NBA history. Juan Toscano Anderson responded with a GIF as a way of seconding Greene’s motion. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) found the opportunity to slam LeBron James for not having the same support from his teammates unless they were under his agency, Klutch Sports.
“I love how supportive Curry’s past and present teammates are. That would never happen with LeBron unless they were on his Klutch payroll.”

Juan Toscano Anderson later responded to the fans, supporting James and calling him the greatest player of all time.

The older NBA generation is too critical of LeBron James
One of LeBron James’ closest friends, famed sports agent Rich Paul, recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast to delve into the topic of why older generations of NBA players may not fully appreciate James’ greatness.
James has undeniably embodied what it means to be a league legend over the years, but he hasn’t always gotten the recognition he deserves, especially from veterans of the game.
Rich Paul said he was confused and didn’t quite understand why this happened. I think part of the problem may stem from the fact that James has been a great player over the course of his NBA career.
Many of the former players who now rate James were in the prime of their careers when he was a rookie. In Paul’s view, witnessing a newcomer like James Garner receiving widespread attention and lucrative contracts could spark feelings of jealousy among these veteran players.
The same goes for fans. Many of them have witnessed icons of the past working towards the fame and fortune they have today. LeBron James became a superstar on his first day, which was a tough pill for older fans to swallow.
