Anthony Elanga has named Marcus Rashford as his best partner at former club Manchester United over Cristiano Ronaldo.

what happened? Despite considering Ronaldo to be one of the best players in the world, Elanga says Rashford left a bigger mark on him because he was his best partner at Old Trafford.
what did they say: “I learn from Cristiano Ronaldo, who is arguably the best player in the world, I learn from Bruno Fernandez, Raphael Varane, Casemiro. I can understand the whole team because they are all World-class players, not just what they do on the pitch but off the pitch, their discipline and how they look after themselves,” Elanga told the Daily Mail.
“(but) I have to say Marcus Rashford is the best player I have ever played with. He has it all, speed, technique, shooting, finishing, and his performance last season was amazing. Off the field he is top notch and he helps me a lot. “
Big picture view: When Ronaldo rejoined the club in 2021, Elanga had just made his breakthrough in Manchester United’s first team. But just over a year later, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has overshadowed Old Trafford, with Rashford scoring 30 goals in all competitions last season. Elanga has since left the club and joined Nottingham Forest for £15 million in July.

After providing two assists in his last Premier League outing against Luton Town, Elanga will be hoping to start his fourth league game of the season when Forest face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. Their next game after that is at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League on 5 November.
