Through this initiative, the company Tunstall Televida has been informing about 50 elderly people and dependents in Estepona in a personalized way for several weeks on how to prevent the disease, explains Paula Herrera, Deputy Mayor of the Sociocultural Zone . In addition, these individuals are monitored over the phone by the remote operators who make up this service.

Tips to avoid catching the flu virus include: spending as little time as possible near people with flu symptoms, washing your hands frequently, spending as little time as possible in crowded places, and constantly refreshing the air in your home. open the window. Likewise, if you think you have the flu, it’s recommended to see your doctor: if you notice difficulty breathing, pressure in your chest or abdomen, persistent dizziness, confusion, or a fever over 38 degrees, and especially if you have any medical condition: chronic or pathological obesity.
