As Burrow led his team to a 24-18 win on Sunday Night Football, the sportscaster took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to make the wild comments.

Bayless posted: “One big difference between Brady and Burrow: Burrow can run.

“Brow can run. Lamar obviously can’t.

“But right there, Mahomes tortures the defense with his legs.”

NFL fans were shocked by the article, and they instead pointed out another huge difference between quarterbacks: the number of Super Bowl rings they own.

Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion and the winningest player in NFL history, while Burrow has yet to win a championship ring although he has played in 11 important games.

One person wrote: “The seven rings are different.”

“That’s a pretty big difference,” a second person said, along with a photo of Brady and the seven Super Bowl rings on his finger.

Another added: “A cave is a cave, stop comparing.”

A fourth commented: “Brady has a few rings and Burrow has zero. Talk to me first before you compare the two when Burrow has four.”

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson also received unnecessary shade for his comments.

Jackson leads the Ravens, tied with Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs sit atop the AFC with a 7-2 record.

All three quarterbacks — Burrow, Jackson and Mahomes — dominated the win on Sunday.

Burrow threw for 348 yards and two touchdowns in prime time, Jackson completed 21 of 25 passes in the 34-point win, and Mahomes threw for two touchdowns in Germany against the Miami Dolphins. Array.

Next week, the Bengals and Ravens return to action and Mahomes and the Chiefs have their bye weeks.

Bayless will return to Fox to make more unprecedented statements live on Fox from 9:30 a.m. to noon ET.
