In light of continued bombing and attempted penetrations into the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army announced Thursday that it had raided what it described as the Hamas movement’s “security square” in the heart of Gaza.
An Israeli army spokesperson said on Platform X that forces affiliated with the Givati Brigade killed around 50 militants in the area.

The spokeswoman stressed that the security square contains “commanders’ offices, underground infrastructure and operations rooms from which the Hamas organization directs the fighting and directs fire.”

An unknown drone hits a building in Eilat
At the same time, the Israeli military said on Thursday that an unknown drone hit a building in the southern city of Eilat.

Hamas’ Health Ministry announced on Thursday that the death toll from Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip had risen to 10,812 people after 34 days.
Ministry spokesperson Ashraf Al-Qudra said: “The Israeli army targeted 130 health institutions and put 18 hospitals and 46 health centers out of action, due to the attacks and running out of fuel,” stressing that the Israeli forces “targeted the Al-Shifa medical complex and the Al-Nasr children’s hospital with artillery shells, wounding seven. “Ivacuees with various injuries.”
