The Health Management District of Campo de Gibraltar Este will install an influenza and coronavirus vaccination point at the La Línea de la Concepción market on Avenida del Ejercito from November 15 to 22. Nursing professionals from the city’s three health centers will be participating from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days to actively recruit people who may receive doses.
Health officials plan to use the special equipment to vaccinate people 60 years or older, people with chronic medical conditions, pregnant women and those in the postpartum period (the first six months after giving birth).
If they are unable to attend this appointment, people in the target group can also book a corresponding appointment through the Salud Responde app or by phone, ClicSalud+ or at their health center.
Currently, in addition to the above-mentioned groups, health and social hygiene professionals and other professional groups such as security forces and corps, livestock farmers, prison institutions, etc. can also benefit from this influenza and COVID-19 vaccination campaign. In addition, children aged 6 to 59 months can receive the flu vaccine.
