New Rosita, coach. – A little Venezuelan immigrant who was only six months old, who was searching for the American dream with his parents, developed pneumonia symptoms while passing through the town and was sent to the city’s general hospital for treatment.
Juan Arturo Montemayor Menchaca, director of the General Hospital, pointed out that several Venezuelan immigrants came to the hospital recently to seek medical assistance for the little boy who was less than 6 months old.
Monchaca noted that after some research, it was determined that the baby had right-sided basilar pneumonia and would need to be hospitalized for a few days.
According to the medical director, the little boy’s condition is progressing well, but he will still need to be hospitalized for a few days to recover.
Juan Arturo pointed out that medical services for any immigrant who visits this hospital are completely free as long as the necessary drugs for treatment are available.
Juan Arturo Montemayor added that two more migrants arrived last Sunday night and reported some kind of pain in their bodies, so when they were checked they were in good health.
The person in charge mentioned that in view of the severe weather that occurred last Sunday, they decided to stay in the area, which was used by COVID-19 patients, and continued on their way on Monday morning.
