Since the start of the ground operation in the northern Gaza Strip on October 27, the death toll among the Israeli army has increased.

The latest toll released by the Israeli army on Sunday shows that 60 soldiers were killed 24 days ago.

The army today announced the killing of two more soldiers, bringing the toll to 60 since the start of the ground incursion into the Palestinian coastal enclave, and to 380 since the war broke out on October 7.

While the Israel Radio and Television Authority explained that a reserve engineer officer and a sergeant from the Parachute Brigade were killed, while a member of the elite parachute unit was injured, which it described as serious.

He also indicated that six more were killed yesterday, Saturday.

“The trial continues”

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galat has repeatedly stressed that “the military operation” in the Gaza Strip will not stop until the mission is completed, even if it continues for months, referring to “the elimination of the Hamas movement and the recovery of the prisoners,” according to the Israeli narrative.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari also reiterated in recent weeks that the army’s mission will continue until “Hamas is dismantled.”

Since October 27, Israel has launched a ground incursion into the Gaza Strip, managing to largely separate the north of the strip from the south, surrounding a number of sites in the north and advancing towards Gaza City.
