Lakers’ Austin Reeves praises LeBron James’ unique traits that make him ‘different’

After a win over the Rockets, Lakers star Austin Reeves opened up about what he considers “special” in LeBron James.

Los Angeles Lakers Austin Reeves talks about teammate LeBron James and the type of environment he brings to the team. According to Michael Corvo of ClutchPoints, Reeves said that even for a player who has been in the league as long as James, he still brought Great attitude.

“One of the special things about LeBron is… I’ve never really seen him in a bad mood. He’s always full of energy,” Reeves said. “He’s the oldest player in the NBA and still acts like he’s 20 every day… I think the way he plays the game is the same no matter who he’s playing against.”

There’s no doubt that the energy James mentioned has helped the young players around him, like Reeves, develop and excel with the Lakers. So far this season, Reeves is averaging 13.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game for Los Angeles. As for James, even at 38 years old, he still had another productive season, averaging 26.4 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.

Reeves’ words came after the Lakers defeated the Rockets 105-104, and James performed well, scoring 37 points, eight assists and six rebounds. The victory puts the Lakers in sixth place in the Western Conference with an 8-6 record.

Their next game will be against the Utah Jazz as part of the NBA In-Season Championship. Los Angeles currently leads 3-0 in the group stage and has a chance to sweep the stage. The Lakers last won a tournament on November 17, beating the Portland Trail Blazers.
