The game between the Mavericks and the Lakers got off to a tense start
The Dallas Mavericks escaped Los Angeles after going through a lot of hardships with a victory over the Lakers. The Mavericks managed to contain a local counterattack and get a tight start in this game to take an important win from Cal.
Although there are no statistics on this, Grant Williams and LeBron James were likely involved in one of the earliest fights in NBA history. Seven seconds after the game started, the Mavericks players wanted to send a message to the Lakers players, so they went to him. LeBron understands that now is not the time to back down, so collision is inevitable and conflict is certain.
LeBron scored 26 points to become the locals’ leading scorer, while Williams focused on defense and scored 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
