New swine flu strain discovered in humans for first time in UK

A new swine flu virus has been discovered in the UK for the first time.second arrival sky newsThe Briton, who lives in North Yorkshire, was diagnosed with the respiratory illness after visiting his GP.

For the first time, someone has been infected with a new type of swine flu in the UK. It’s unclear if the person involved had any experience with pigs, but he has yet to fully recover.

The UK Health Safety Authority (UKHSA) said it was monitoring the situation and taking steps to raise awareness of two existing schemes involving doctors’ offices and hospitals.

UKHSA incident director Meera Chand said: “This is the first time this virus has been detected in humans in the UK, but it is very similar to viruses that have been detected in humans.”

Veterinary chef Christine Middlemiss said: “Some animals can be transferred to humans, which is why high standards of animal health, safety and biosecurity are so important.”

It is not yet known what spread to the family or whether there may be other cases outside the UK.

I’m also hesitant to say whether this has the potential to cause a pandemic.

UKHSA has informed the World Health Organization (WHO) of the matter.

Since 2005, a total of 50 human cases of influenza A (H1N2) virus infection have been reported globally; however, Nenhum Deles is genetically related to this lineage.

H1N1, H1N2, and H3N2 are the major subtypes of swine influenza viruses that occasionally infect humans.
