Flu vaccinations take to the streets to protect citizens

The Andalusian Health Service has set up a stall in the central market to promote influenza and coronavirus vaccinations for people at risk or who live with people at risk.

Some doses will be administered again this Saturday at La Plaza from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The flu is not a simple cold.
The flu is a serious illness that can cause death in some people and with certain medical conditions.

The Directorate of Health of Andalusia therefore wants to launch an awareness campaign through vaccinations on the streets.

At the Central Market, a table was set up and several nurses were administering flu shots and COVID-19 boosters.

Health workers remember the importance of getting vaccinated against the virus, which strengthens with cold and spreads easily. Especially during this time when gatherings of family and friends are commonplace.

This mobile vaccination service will return to the Central Market this Saturday (December 2) from 10am to 1pm.

In addition to the coronavirus booster vaccine, all people at risk or who live with someone at risk will be able to receive a dose that will protect them for six months.
