Osama Hamdan, one of the administrators of the Hamas movement, said in his statement to Al-Mayadeen satellite channel, known for its closeness to the Lebanese Hezbollah, that efforts to extend the “humanitarian break” have not yet matured, and that they do not find a solution. According to the news reported by Anatolia Agency: He added: “It is not possible to talk about exchanging Israeli prisoners until after the end of the aggression against Gaza and the lifting of the siege.” Hamdan stressed that the resistance is preparing itself for all possibilities after the end of the “humanitarian break.”
Hamdan said: “A ceasefire is not enough for us. On the contrary, the occupation forces must withdraw from Gaza and the attacks must stop.” He said.
An agreement was reached between Israel and Hamas on a four-day “humanitarian truce” in the Gaza conflicts on November 24, as part of a prisoner exchange. The agreement in question was later extended for two days.
