Miami Dolphins part-owner Serena Williams once revealed emotional reasons for investing with Venus Williams

The sisters are not only talented in sports, but also in entrepreneurship. It all started when they made an initial investment in the Miami Dolphins in 2019, kicking off their business journey.

The National Football League has been a very resourceful investment for the sisters, not only because it is now valued at $5.3 billion, but because it has opened up an entrepreneurial path for them. Serena Williams also previously shared how investing in the league was not only an investment, but also an emotional journey for them as it was so connected to their childhood.

Serena Williams’ investment in Miami Dolphins tied to childhood

In a previous interview, Serena Williams and Venus Williams talked about how excited they were about the opportunity to invest in the Miami Dolphins. Not only is this an important decision for them financially and business-wise, but also because Miami holds a special place in their hearts.

Another company she invested in was 926, a media production company.

The same goes for Venus Williams, who also launched her own brand, EleVen by Venus, which has many sports-related products. She is also the co-founder of Happy Viking, another athletic apparel company with a direct-to-consumer model.
