That’s what Charles Barkley thought when the Chicago Bulls announced Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen as the first recipients of the inaugural awards ceremony. Barkley was a friendly rival of the six-time champion, but things changed as the two feuded over the years. The same was true between Pippen and Jordan. So the Philadelphia 76ers legend enjoyed witnessing the awkwardness between the Bulls duo.

However, now things have suddenly changed! The Bulls have informed Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen that they will not attend the ceremony. During a special appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Buckley shared: “I just sat in the corner and stared…I prayed, please don’t see it on a night when I have to work…I had to go to Chicago that day to see it. “It’s unfair for you to talk about the weirdest, most uncomfortable, most uncomfortable things to say.”
Sadly, Charles Barkley’s plans have now come to naught. It’s time to cancel your ticket to Chicago!
