Sotheby’s revealed that Jordan presented the executive with a pair of sneakers after the 1991 championship game, starting the franchise’s tradition of winning six championships.
Included in the auction is a photo of Jordan wearing the shoe to celebrate his wins in 1992, 1993, 1996 and 1998.
Jordan memorabilia has long been sought after by NBA collectors and fans.
