Patriots legend, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes comes down with ‘big flu’

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will play in his third Super Bowl on Sunday in an attempt to further bolster his status as an all-time great at his position. He’s working hard to be that person, but he’s not only winning fans along the way.

Former New England Patriots left tackle Matt Light is not a fan. Why?he explains in his new show Follow Foxborough podcast.

“I got to do things that a lot of people dream of. It’s been an amazing journey. I’ve learned a lot. “I’ve met a lot of incredible people,” Wright explained. “But I think that comes with it a huge Your responsibility is to emulate those who helped you achieve this goal, show respect, and help others. I firmly believe that especially those who have been promoted to the highest level, like Mahomes on Brady’s team, they have a greater burden to represent themselves in the organization and be role models.

“Anytime you see him on the field, especially in that game that was called up – it was a great game. Look at the way I approached it… I just think it’s a big plus for what he got. The position is a disgrace. So, that’s my flu.”

Light was referring to the canceled game in the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Mahomes expressed dissatisfaction with the calls that were made right immediately after the game, both on the field and at the podium.

“I just wish someone could say, ‘Hey man, everyone is watching you. Every kid is going to follow your example,” Wright added. “You have a responsibility to yourself, to your team, to other people to perform at the highest level.”

The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 on Sunday.
