Serena Williams and Kate Moss join 40 famous women on Edward Enninful’s final cover

Tennis icon Serena Williams and British supermodel Kate Moss are among 40 female stars to grace the cover of Edward Enninful’s last issue of British Vogue One, Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Naomi Campbell and Miley Cyrus also grace the cover.

Enninful is a Ghanaian-British man and the first black man to serve as editor-in-chief of a top fashion magazine. announced that he would resign This year he was transferred from his old position to the newly created position.

A video shared by British Vogue on Instagram showed 40 women gathering to watch the video.

Enninful said: “This is my 76th and final issue of Vogue, six and a half years later, with 153 cover stars, including 40 legendary women on the cover of this issue.

“It’s been an extraordinary journey and an absolute honour.

“As I take on my new role as global creative and cultural advisor to Condé Nast Vogue, I am determined to continue championing the incredible voices in fashion and media and ensure we maintain the explosion of energy we have experienced over the past few years.

“We always say this because it always needs to be said: There’s still a lot to do.”

In a letter to the editor, Ennifer described his “gratitude” and said he was “proud of some of the important work that has been done for this publication.”

As part of Queen Elizabeth II’s 2016 Birthday Honors List, Enninful was awarded an OBE for her contribution to diversity in the fashion industry.

In August 2017, he took over as editor-in-chief of British Vogue and was promoted to European Editorial Director of Vogue in December 2020.

During his years at the top of fashion magazines, he continued to push boundaries and become an advocate for greater inclusivity in the industry.

He describes the publication’s May 2023 issue as “one of the proudest moments of my career”, which includes 19 people with disabilities from the fields of fashion, sport, culture and activism, with five more featured on the cover Disabled people.

Enninful will serve as editorial advisor to British Vogue and global creative and cultural advisor to Vogue later this year.

His final edition as editor-in-chief of British Vogue will be available via digital download and newsstands from Tuesday 13 February.
