Talented Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu has named two outstanding athletes who were her inspiration to take up the sport.
The 23-year-old was once one of the most sought-after players in women’s singles, but she has recently had problems getting good results on a regular basis.
Andreescu was recently quoted in a report in which she cited former world number one Serena Williams and legend Billie Jean King as inspirations for her to compete at the highest level. Sports player.

Andreescu came to prominence in 2019. At the age of 19, she defeated Serena 6-3, 7-5 in the final to win the US Open championship. Since then, however, the Mississauga-born player has never reached the quarterfinals or beyond the finals at any Grand Slam tournament.
