Even before joining forces with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard with the Milwaukee Bucks, veteran guard Patrick Beverley had the privilege of playing alongside multiple superstars. The biggest player among them has to be LeBron James, who Pat Bev worked with during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers.
However, Beverley never got the chance to play with the GOAT. When Beverley entered the NBA as a rookie in 2012, Michael Jordan had long since retired (for the third time). But Pat Bev believes he may have been playing during Jordan’s second arrival.
Kevin Garnett drops Michael Jordan’s praise for Anthony Edwards
This guy is Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett recently had goat-level praise for the 22-year-old, claiming Edwards reminded him of a young Jordan:
Rachel Nichols: “(Kevin Garnett) said you reminded him of No. 84 (Michael) Jordan. What do you think of what he said?”
Anthony Edwards: “That’s OG, man. Whatever he says, it’s OK. … I think (KG) is definitely right.” 😲

Edwards has never lacked for confidence, which is why it’s no surprise that the Wolves superstar is more than willing to accept praise. He did note that Jordan in ’84 was still “finding himself,” which is why he completely agrees with Garnett’s assessment.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Patrick Beverley reacts
Beverley had the opportunity to play alongside Edwards a few years ago during his time in Minnesota. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was still in his sophomore year that season (2021-22), and while he was already terrorizing the league with his elite scoring ability, he wasn’t the true superstar he is today.
However, Beverley has seen the greatness in this young man. Apparently, he was drawing comparisons to Jordan even before Garnett. When Pat Bev heard KG’s statement about Edwards, he immediately had an honest reaction:
