The two-time NBA champion admitted his answer may be biased because of the relationship the two developed during their time with LeBron’s Heat. However, when Green asked Battier if he’d ever played alongside a player of LeBron’s caliber, the Duke product gave a wild answer that’s sure to make people smile. He said, “LeBron did twice as much “I don’t think Michael Jordan could have done it once!”

If this were a packed stadium, this sentence would be followed by complete silence. But the 45-year-old didn’t leave anyone guessing, going on to say: “He won two NBA championships with Shane Battier as the starting power forward.” This man clearly has a great sense of humor, which becomes apparent when I elaborate further.

When Shane calls himself “Prosperity a** power forwardBrown dragging him across the finish line clearly showed the leadership and determination that James had in his prime. According to Sean, this is something Jordan could not do even once.

Michael Jordan VS LeBron James

We know how selfless King James is when passing the ball to his teammates. He was widely criticized for this. Jordan is a typical example. He demands and expects perfection and abides by a work ethic that he adheres to himself. That’s not to say the Akron Hammers are lacking in this area. But it just took more physical basketball during Jordan’s playing days and, for lack of a better word, Kobe’s “Mamba Mentality” through and through.

So when Battier made the statement, what he meant was that you can’t expect Jordan to inspire you to play your best and then play some more. All you got from Jordan was harsh criticism and some trash talk. This is what makes Michael Jordan one of the greats. But with LeBron, you can expect him to do whatever it takes to help you.

This is not necessarily a negative trait. It’s just that two basketball superstars work in completely different ways.
