STEPHEN A. Smith’s recent NBA buzz has fans confused.
On Friday’s episode of NBA Countdown, Stephen A. Smith joined Malika Andrews to talk about a crazy topic.
At the beginning of the show, Stephen A. tried to compare Michael Jordan to Anthony Edwards.

Michael Jordan is widely regarded as the greatest player of all time, and even that suggestion is shocking.
Anthony Edwards is a great player, but it’s hard to compare him to “The GOAT.”
NBA fans were very confused by the comparison on Twitter.
“Basketball rhetoric is the worst in all major sports. It’s not even close,” one fan said.
“Are you kidding me?” another fan said.
“Pump the brakes. Ant is 22. Let’s bring this up again when he’s 28. I know it’s impossible but still,” said a third fan.
“Who the hell is reading this stuff?” said a fourth fan.
“Oh my God, let this kid not be like any Jordan in the world anymore,” said a fifth fan.
It’s a crazy comparison to have a player who is only 22 years old and has played four years in the NBA and a Hall of Famer who has been an All-Star 14 times and won six championships.
Anthony Edwards was a great player, a two-time All-Star in four years with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but it’s unfair to compare him to Jordan.
Maybe later in his career, when he has more experience, comparisons will be possible, but even then, there aren’t many who play like Jordan.
