Michael B. Jordan reveals news he’s looking for a partner amid ‘alone’ feelings

Michael B. Jordan recounts how his demanding career affected many aspects of his personal life, including his love life.

In the latest episode of “On purpose with jay shettyDuring an episode of the podcast that aired on Monday (March 11), the Creed III star got vulnerable while discussing the struggles of romantic partnerships. He also elaborated on how his busy schedule prevents him from being more adventurous.

For Jordan, working with partners “isn’t easy.”

“It’s not just ‘I love you and you love me,'” he said, adding that while he believes love “should be enough” to just love your partner, “it’s not that simple.”

He also revealed that his ideal partner would need to “understand all of me and everything that I am,” including his desire to “find balance with that person, with him, while I juggle other things.”

At one point during this conversation with Shetty, Jordan breaks down how loneliness affects his life.

“I had a sense of isolation. The responsibility you carry is isolating and the weight is isolating,” he explains. “The worst part is feeling like no one really understands. Sometimes you get stuck in a lonely space and feel alone.”

He continued, “I go back and forth between wanting a partnership and not knowing what the best partner is for me.”

Although Jordan is single, he admitted, “I’m not looking for but needing a very special person to understand me and grow with me.” He also noted that he does “eventually want a family.”

From his teenage years on “All My Children” to his role in “Black Panther,” Jordan’s career has reached explosive heights.

Still, he admits there are things he longs to do.

“There’s a part of me that hasn’t really experienced life. … I don’t travel for fun,” I shared. “I’ve got to start living. “I’ve made sacrifices and I’ve put in a long time. “
