A movie starring Michael B. Jordan is expected to begin filming in Donaldsonville, according to city officials.
Donaldsonville Mayor Leroy Sullivan announced on his Progressive radio station and online that the film production team has set up base along Railroad Avenue in the city’s historic downtown area.
According to the mayor, Jordan will be working with Ryan Coogler, the writer and director of “Black Panther” and “Tenet.”
As of March 20, the crew seems to have entered the pre-production stage of filming.
