Michael Jordan used PEDs, not LeBron James; Gilbert Arenas weighs in on Lakers star’s steroid use accusations

A lot of news about the basketball world has been exposed before. He doesn’t shy away from making controversial statements, and he did so again recently. During a recent episode of Gill Arena, he suggested that Michael Jordan allegedly used PEDs.

He hinted that the 40-year-old was not tired even though everyone else was exhausted after playing three rounds of 18 holes of golf. Let’s see what he had to say about this in detail.

Did Jordan use PEDs?

“We played three 18-hole rounds of golf in one day, and then Jordan came out and gave us five holes,” Arenas said. “I was tired as hell, but Jordan didn’t… There are six tests now, there was one test back then. So, all these players who play 82 games a year, oh, all these players who go through an NBA season… if You just want to be there and there are a lot of players playing 82 games during that time,” Arenas added.

Arenas also mentioned that Jordan played 82 games at the age of 40, even though his lifestyle was not centered around fitness. According to him, the basketball legend smoked cigars, drank alcohol and gambled. He said he found it strange that no one in the NBA had been caught red-handed despite the league having had a PED problem since the 1980s.

Now, he’s not the only one to be accused of such an incident, even LeBron James has been accused of using PEDs.

LeBron James is drinking “new juice,” according to Kevin Garnett.

When he discussed braces with Paul Pierce on an episode of “KG Certified,” the Hall of Famer claimed that LeBron James is using a brace. “His dad drank Belco and he drank New Juice,” Garnett said.

The word was mentioned casually during the podcast, but this isn’t the first time James has been accused of using PEDs. Even so, he has never failed a drug test in his 21-year NBA career. However, in 2023, documents were discovered linking King’s associates to the Biogenesis scandal. For those not in the know, the Biogenesis scandal involves a clinic in Miami, Florida, run by cocaine addict Anthony Bosch. He provides PEDs to athletes, especially baseball players.

Now that such accusations have been made against Jordan, Arenas makes a pretty serious allegation here. Will Michael Jordan solve these problems? what do you think?
