rose Garden. The award ceremony of the photo contest “Among the Clouds”, organized by the Lions Club Rossetto degli Abruzzi Valle del Womano under the auspices of the Italian Touring Club – Pescara Territory Club, took place in recent days.
First prize, a check for 300 euros, went to Sandro Pelini, second place went to Antonio Tommarelli with the photo “Tramontane Clouds”, third place went to Franco Giuliani with the photo “The Eternal and the Ephemeral”.
The jury then awarded certificates of merit to the winners: Valerio Tiberi “Landscape of the Sky”, Riccardo Caroli – “Landscape of the Sky”, Adele di Feliciantonio – “Summer Clouds on the Teramo Hill”, Maristella Urbini “Power of Nature” – Francesca Petrucci “Symmetrical Reflections”; Roberto Farlone “Windows in the Clouds”; Donatella De Sanctis “The Fourth Spade”.
The awards were presented by club president Gianluigi Candelori, the club’s immediate former president, Jenny Mummolo, and jury president Elio Torlontano. Others include jury members Riccardo Salomi, Piero Governor’sMirela Lelli and Daniela Faraon are members of the organizing commission of the competition.
Participants’ tuition fees were donated to pediatric oncology research.
