Last October, following Kanye West’s anti-Semitic comments, Foot Locker — as well as Gap, Balenciaga and Adidas — said it would stop all sales of Yeezy sneakers, the fashion brand founded by the rapper. Following Kanye West’s unflattering words, Foot Locker’s internal team responded to a company email from Footwear News, declaring that “the company does not tolerate anti-Semitism or hateful and discriminatory behavior of any kind”. Foot Locker still remains a partner of adidas, but has decided not to support any future launches of Yeezy products and has therefore instructed retail operators to withdraw any existing products online and from stores.

Now, from what has surfaced on news portal Hypebeast, it appears that Foot Locker will start selling Yeezy sneakers again this August. According to the portal, some of the color variants that may be available again will be the “Bone”, “Glow Green”, “Slate Grey” and “Slate Marine” versions of the adidas Yeezy Slide, along with the adidas Yeezy Boost 350. V2 includes “Slate Onyx”, “Bone”, “Grey/Black”, “Hyperspace” and “Static Grey”. Foot Locker is yet to confirm these rumors. Meanwhile, after several talks with Kanye West, Adidas has begun selling off part of the stock of Yeezy sneakers left at the company, including through raffles as drops and a series of limited releases.
