Rinaldi (Lega): From minimum wage to free work at a Harry Styles concert. Solidarity of the Regio Democratic Party

Following the controversy over Democratic Party volunteers working for free at the Harry Styles concert, Alessandro Rinaldi, city secretary and municipal councilor of the Lega in Reggio Emilia, writes: “From workers’ party to PD members who work for free at Europe’s biggest concert.
This is the incredible descent of Reggio PD hitting rock bottom at yesterday’s Harry Styles concert with over 100,000 spectators.

Unpaid party volunteers who worked 10-hour summer weekends without pay, despite the event generating millions of dollars in business.
What happened yesterday in the city is really paradoxical, if the parties were to reverse the self-styled minimum wage party would cry scandal, but apparently in Reggio Emilia they can do anything they feel untouchable.
Why, with more than 100,000 paying visitors (tickets cost between 65 and 73 euros) and horrendous receipts, does the organization also use the free services of terrorists and friends of the Regiano PD?
What is the relationship between a private company and the party that has always administered the city and that allowed the construction of the arena?
As declared by the self also with complete carelessness, they are involved in the management of the concert activities of the arena, so as to be able to receive benefits for the celebration of unity through the sharing of equipment, structures and volunteers in return.
In short, in order to control the cost of organizing party parties, the Regio PD is willing to ask its militants if they are willing to work for free for concerts of international stars, whose success, given their success, certainly does not cause them economic difficulties.
Here all the inconsistencies of the PD are exposed which on the one hand calls for a minimum wage in support of workers and on the other hand offers its members to work ten hours for free at Europe’s biggest concert.

There is really no limit to the hypocrisy of some people who have only spoken in defense of workers.”
