Following the rollout of more than 2,500 hepatitis rapid detection tests across the state on World Hepatitis Day just past, the free tests are back this week.
Catalina Domínguez Hernández, head of the National Program for the Promotion of HIV, STIs and HCV, reported that as part of the activities of the three state health jurisdictions of Campeche, Carmen and Escacega, they will be installing modules free information and Quick test.
“We’re advocating for timely testing and we’re running testing days with information kiosks and free rapid testing, which is something that we do throughout the year, but we’re ramping up based on that date,” he stressed.
Information stations and free rapid tests will be held at UNEME CAPASITS Carmen from 31 July to 4 August, from 8 am to 7 pm; on August 1 at the “José del Carmen González” market in Escácega; 2 Located in Bodega Aurrera; on the 3rd in the “Miguel Hidalgo” park and on the 4th August in Koper, from 9 am to 3 pm.
Also in Campeche, San Francisco, the tests will take place on August 2 at the Samulá Market; on the 3rd at “Dr. Baranda” main market.
