The Many Faces of Taylor Swift: $55 million total bonus for everyone on the Eras Tour
Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” is reaching staggering numbers, breaking record after record (over 140 shows in less than two years), and there’s a lot of money in circulation, we’re talking a lot of zeros.
However, the singer is well aware that without the help of every person working behind the scenes, the wonderful 3.5-hour show would not be possible. So, aside from the nice words, Taylor Swift gets to the facts: a $100,000 bonus for every truck driver on tour. But not only. In fact, every Swift employee has received a bonus. The total amount is about 55 million dollars.
News that shouldn’t come as a surprise, but is causing a stir among those who think the singer did it just to be talked about, and among those who continue to idolize Taylor. Whatever the trigger, few employees qualify for fair wages and incentive bonuses (not to mention that Swift employees also have health insurance, which is very rare in the music business).
But this, of course, is not new for the American singer: she has always been very active thanks to secret and anonymous donations.
Taylor Swift returned the love she received to the cities that host her on her first tour since 2018. “generous donations” to food banks in many of the cities where he stayed, including Glendale, Arizona, Las Vegas and Atlanta. No city has given specific numbers, but the Tampa Food Bank said Taylor donated enough to “putting more than 125,000 dishes on the tables.”
