Fantastic Summer: 3 movies that need to be restored

Raise your hand who would like to escape into a fantasy world. One made from magic, fairies, elves, witches and epic battles? In short, something incredibly absurd that can never be true. Well, just to take refuge in one of these incredible worlds, we decided to provide you with three films that can make you dream and escape from reality. You are ready? Let’s start!

Let’s start with something more recent, coming out in 2021 and featuring one of the actors I personally adore, Colin Firth. Plot: Mary was born in India to English parents. When she was orphaned, she was taken to England to live with her widowed uncle, Archibald Craven. Together with her cousin Colin, Mary discovers a wonderful secret garden.

Miss Peregrine – a home for unusual children

From the genius of Tim Burton, to be honest, I think it’s almost impossible not to see him if you love the fantasy genre. There are so many amazing things in this film, starting from the level of Eva Green’s acting. You can tell me what you want, for me she is a Goddess. Anyway, I always thought that a school with “special” kids would be cool and damn if there was one! This story is beyond imagination. I also find it fantastic that there is something “special” about even those who think they are “normal”. Yes, I admit that maybe this is something trivial, but at the same time extraordinary in the way of narration. So, if you really haven’t seen it, I advise you to do so. Plot: Teenage Jake discovers a secret hideout on an island where children have supernatural powers. Here he stumbles upon a magical place, Miss Peregrine’s School, but soon realizes that all is not what it seems.

Bridge to Terabithia

Let’s move on to a beautiful classic, which is very difficult for me not to pay attention to. If you’ve never seen this, it’s a crime. No, okay, I’m kidding, but know that this is one of those films that celebrates the teenage years of each individual and … yes, it will make you cry. The cast includes two very young AnnaSophia Robb and Josh Hutcherson. Plot: The boy meets a new classmate. To escape the tedium of everyday life, the two invent a fantastical imaginary world populated by magical creatures.
