The National Leader of the Mexican Youth Network, Carlos Gutiérrez Mancilla, was in attendance, along with representatives from civil society and the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), the National Action Party (PAN) and the Democratic Revolutionary Party ( PRD) participation of young people, Mexico’s Broad Front Youth Dialogue.
In his speech, Gutierrez Mancira pointed out that they are facing unprecedented events as three unified historical political forces – the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), the National Action Party (PAN) and the Revolutionary Democratic Alliance (PRD) ) – unite to face a federal government that is tragic for Mexico. He added: “We are forming a front to defend our country, to defend our children, our youth, to restore power and be able to serve the people.”
The national leader of the Mexican Youth Network mentioned that today our political parties do not offer solutions. “They’re a bunch of incompetent, incompetent people. I don’t say that in a pejorative way, but in a real way, we’re not insulting them, we’re describing them, we’re trying to instill in our kids I saw this in my textbook.
Carlos Gutierrez Mancira noted that young people face the challenge and responsibility to stop this. “We face the challenge of eradicating the cancer of Morena, which has done nothing more than destroy the foundations and institutions of this country built by the PRI and NA governments.”
Sara Rocha Medina, chair of the PRI state executive committee, said the parties “need to prepare young people who love Mexico, want to build, but most of all they are mops. , so that they can build a foundation and go beyond.”
He said his commitment was to create a large structure with new PRI cadres across the state, along with the Mexican Youth Network. “The big task we face is to increase the number of young people and women. The PRI is very well structured, and out of every 10 candidates, at least a third are young people”.
David Lizcano of PAN mentioned in his speech that the people painting the fence and handing out the leaflets are not alone. “We are here to get involved, to be candidates and to support parties on legal and electoral issues. Generational change is important, we all need each other and it is important to listen to those who have experience. If we unite, young people , adults, members of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, members of the National Action Party, members of the Democratic Revolutionary Party and civil society, we will win the Presidency of the Republic.”
Meanwhile, Miranda Valentina Arredondo of Civil Society and Stephanie Madrigal Centeno of the Democratic Revolutionary Party point to increasing women’s political participation importance, even more so if they are young. Valentina Arredondo said: “While some progress has been made, women’s political participation is very important because they know their needs and the struggles they have to fight, so there is a need to integrate more women into society.”
