Beyoncé’s wax figure faithfully reproduces the Nefertiti look she showed off at the historic Coachella 2018 performance.when she became the first black woman to headline the famed California festival.
The figure wears an exact replica of Beyoncé’s jumpsuit and headdress from the time, as well as a cane, glittery headphones, a pair of diamond earrings, and an oversized necklace.
The work is the result of the efforts of twenty artists, sculptors and designers of Madame Tussauds.. The work took six weeks. Fans can already see the wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York.
Renaissance World Tour
Beyoncé’s tribute from Madame Tussauds arrived just two days before her renaissance world tour stopped there. The artist will perform at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 July.
