In the week from 31 July to 6 August, the incidence of acute respiratory infection continued to increase, with a low level of transmission at 305 per 100,000 inhabitants, and 23,922 cases were registered.

The report also noted that confirmed cases of impetigo had stabilized at 41 per 100,000 inhabitants this week, adding that 2,293 cases of streptococcal pharyngitis, accounting for 29 percent of the total, had been detected, along with 45 cases of scarlet fever.

The 45 to 59 and 60 to 69 age groups were again within expected levels in terms of all-cause hospital emergencies.
