The Teenage Witch and the Partridge Family Return in Rebooted Animated Series | TV

The Teenage Witch and The Partridge Family will return as animated series with reboots. Both animated series are currently in development at Sony Pictures Television.

Both animated series are still in the early stages of development with no clear production schedule as the writers have yet to be announced and the WGA strike is still ongoing.

The Bewitched reboot will focus on Tabitha Stevens, the 13-year-old daughter of the witch Samantha and the human Darrin. The girl will juggle two lives by attending high school and secretly enrolling in a magical academy run by her grandmother Endora.

The original Bewitched ran from 1964 to 1972. Several networks (CBS, NBC and ABC) have tried rebooting, but Sony’s animated attempt may be the first to really succeed.

Instead, the Partridge family will focus on a black family from Brooklyn’s Bed Stay neighborhood who runs a restaurant on wheels. They travel the five boroughs of New York to serve up treats and tunes.
