trailer for horror sequel due in September • Asbury Movies

The trailer for The Nun 2, the sequel to the successful horror film that is part of The Conjuring, starring Taissa Farmiga, was released today. Theatrical release is scheduled for September.

He’s about to go out into the hall nun 2, and the first trailer released today shows some scenes from the new horror that is part of the Conjuringverse created by James Wan. The film will mark the return of the terrifying presence that torments the nun, played by Taissa Farmiga, already the protagonist of the first chapter.

The trailer, which is mostly set in a school, shows a little girl and her companions struggling with horrific events, while the protagonist, a nun, tries to block a creature that is trying by all means to regain its former strength.

The film follows the first nun, dated 2018, which is still the most successful game in the entire Conjuringverse, with a global gross of over $2 billion. Filmmaker Michael Chavez returnsLa Llorona, Spell: At the command of the devil), written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing and Akela Cooper.

As part of nun 2to support protagonist Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, among others we will find Jonas Blocke, Storm Reed, Anna Popplewell and Bonnie Aarons. The film is being produced by Peter Safran’s Safran Company and James Wan’s Atomic Monster, with executive producers Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Michael Polar.

The official synopsis of the film teases:
“1956 – France. The priest is killed. Evil is spreading. The blockbuster sequel follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face to face with Valak, the demonic nun.”.

nun 2 will be released in Italian theaters with distribution by Warner Bros. Pictures starting in September.
