David Harbor returned to talk about his feelings on the series very strange thingswhich made him known to the general public in the role Hoppers. In the first year of Stranger Things, I remember arguing with a publicist who said to me, “Maybe you don’t want to be so associated with the show,” and I’m like, “Why? I love this show. I love this character.” But I don’t want to be just that character“.
“I think George Clooney is leaving the ER. Now we see him simply as George Clooney. The harbor continued. But there was a time when they said, “The ER guy is making a movie with Nicole Kidman.” I want to survive and it’s hard, I don’t want to offend my loved ones, but at the same time I want to leave the nest. I want to show more, do different things, and I want you to see it. I don’t want people yelling at me Hopper in the street every five minutes for the rest of my life“.
