Britney Spears filed a police report after she was shot dead by NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s bodyguard.. According to TMZ, the pop star was having dinner with her husband Sam Asgari and two friends at a restaurant in Las Vegas when she saw the athlete and wanted to take a picture with him. She then patted him on the shoulder to get his attention, but the guard pushed her and punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground.
Once he realized it was Britney Spears, the bodyguard apologized and the singer accepted the apology.. However, he nevertheless contacted the police, who reviewed the restaurant’s surveillance footage and confirmed the incident.

The day after the attack, Britney Spears commented on the story with an Instagram post. “I’ve had many traumatic experiences in my life, but I didn’t expect what happened last night.. I recognized Victor Wembanyama in the hotel lobby on my way to dinner. Then I went to a restaurant in another hotel and saw him again. I decided to approach him and congratulate him on his success.”
And another: “It was very noisy, so I patted him on the shoulder to get his attention. I know the player’s statement that “I grabbed him from behind”, but I just patted him on the shoulder. His confidence hit me in the face without turning around to face the crowd.. It nearly knocked me off my feet and blew my glasses off my face.”
Victor Vembayama’s answer
In a statement released by the Associated Press, Wembanyama said that Spears grabbed him from behind and only after that noticed the pop star.. “I just know that the security pushed her away. I don’t know how hard, but the guards pushed her away. I didn’t stop to look, to stop by and enjoy a good dinner,” he said.
Britney Spears wrote in a statement: “I’m always getting attacked by people. That night, I was run over by a group of at least 20 fans, but none of them were attacked by my security team.”
He continued, “This story is really embarrassing to share with the world, but it’s already there. However, I think it’s important to share this fact and encourage people who are in the public eye to lead by example and treat all people with respect.”
Spears concluded by thanking the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for their work, adding, “Physical abuse happens all too often in this world. Often behind closed doors. I support all the victims and condolences with all my heart!!! I received a public apology from the player, his security team, or their organization. I hope they do…”
