The wait for Blanco’s second album is almost over. In love will be released on April 14th by Island Records/Universal Music Italia and will contain a very special track. We are talking about A bit of joysong recorded together with the legendary and extraordinary Mina. The duet will also appear in the new unreleased album by the singer from Cremona, I love you like crazywhich will be published the following week. Once again, Blanco’s new album was entirely produced by the faithful Michelangelo.
The rumors about a very close collaboration between Blanco and Mina had already been chasing each other for several weeks, not confirmed but not even denied by any of the interested parties. In the past, Mina had already declared – through her son, Massimiliano Pani – that she particularly appreciated Blanco. “His favorite song is Chills of Blanco and Mahmood,” Pani had said. The singer from Brescia would have proposed to him the song to get to Mina, who liked it so much that he insisted on recording it together with the young artist. The processing of the song would have taken place between Milan and Lugano, the city where Mina has lived away from the spotlight since the end of the 80s.
The artwork of In love is a shot made by Chilldays in the Salar de Uyuni desert, in Bolivia, and the album will be available in digital format, cd and signed vinyl.
Furthermore, Blanco will present the new songs during two crucial dates in his short but already very rich career: on July 4 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and on July 20 at the San Siro stadium in Milan. Tickets are already available on the TicketOne website and in authorized points of sale.
