After Millie Bobby Brown came out “ready to finish” Stranger Things“, the young actress from Marbella announced her next project: the publication of his first novel, Nineteen Stepsfor the William Morrow publishing house (linked to the famous Harper/Collins).
The provisional release date of the book (which can be translated into Italian as “Diciannove passi”) isautumn 2023while the story will be inspired by Brown’s grandmother, who survived the disaster in Bethnal Green tube During the Second World War.
Here’s the official synopsis: “Entitled Nineteen Steps, the novel is described by the publisher as a ‘sepic story of love, loss and secrets‘ which tells the story of 18-year-old Nellie Morris, who lives with her family in Bethnal Green during the Second World War. after theNellie’s chance encounter with an American airman stationed nearby, during an air raid, a terrible accident with catastrophic consequences“.
So added the actress herself: “It’s inspired by my nanny Ruth, therefore this book is very personal and with a special place in my heart. I grew up hearing stories about his life during the war, so it’s such an honour keep them alive through the written page“.
Waiting for the fifth season of Stranger Things, Nineteen Steps is certainly not the only “collateral” product of the Duffer Brothers series: just think of the film that Finn Wolfhard (Hell of a Summer) will direct, the return of Winona Ryder in the sequel to Beetlejuice – Piggy Sprite or the debut of the theatrical show Stranger Thing: The First Shadow in December 2023.
